Welcome!
We are glad to have you with us!
Our mission is to advance and facilitate professionals in the fields of medical, human resources, safety, and insurance through education and networking.
Since its inception in September 1993, the Portland Chapter of Professionals in Workers' Compensation has provided opportunities for professionals to enhance their technical skills through education and to promote discussion of relevant industry matters.
Members and guests have five educational opportunities a year at our breakfast seminars. The education and training topics provide valuable tools and lively discussions that directly impact your work. They are designed to improve job performance and assist you in decision making. Continuing education credits are provided.
To minimize interruption in the workday, the meetings are held at the start of the workday and costs are kept to a minimum. Our members enjoy arriving a few minutes before the meetings start, to catch up with colleagues or to discuss a work challenge. Please join us for another exciting year!
PWC gives back to the community as part of our December meeting. Proceeds from the raffle are donated to a local charity. Money collected from the December 2007 meeting will be used to purchase toys for children. Past recipients include Guide Dogs for the Blind, Telephone Cards for Troops, Dress for Success, Loaves and Fishes, a Woman's Shelter, and White Shield Center, a Salvation Army program for adolescent girls.
